Kathmandu. In recent times, the presence of fake candidates in the examination of life insurance agents has started increasing. Such indecent activities have raised questions on the credibility of the agent.
The Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA) has taken action against 47 candidates for irregularities in the life insurance agent examination. The authority has barred them from appearing in the insurance agent exam for 3 months.
According to the authority, the action was taken against the people who participated in the examination because they were different from the person in the photo entered in the IRMIS system.
Of the total 11 companies of Nepal Life Insurance, 6 of Sun Nepal Life Insurance, 6 of Suryajyoti Life Insurance, 3 of Reliable Nepal Life Insurance, 2 each of Prabhu Life Insurance, Prabhu Life Insurance, Met Life Insurance, Citizen Life Insurance, 3 of Himalayan Life Insurance, 4 of IME Insurance, 1 each of Crest Micro Life, National Life Insurance, Nepal Life Insurance, Sanima Life Insurance, and Sanima Life Insurance.
