Lumbini Bikas Bank donates Rs. 25 lakhs to Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund

Kathmandu. Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited has contributed Rs 25,00,000 to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund to support the relief and rescue work of the people affected by the recent floods, landslides and natural disasters in different parts of the country.

Chairman of the Bank Mr. Chintamani Bhattarai along with CEO Mr. Suman Acharya and Deputy CEO Umesh Regmi jointly handed over the cheque of Rs 2.5 million to Hon’ble Finance Minister of Nepal Swarnim Wagle on August 28, 2083.

The Bank is saddened by the difficult situation in which natural calamities have caused huge loss of life and property in various places and many citizens have been affected. The Bank sincerely pays tribute to all the dignitaries who lost their lives in this calamity. It also expresses its deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured and affected citizens.

The bank pledged to continue its CSR activities in the days ahead, supporting the disaster-affected citizens and for the benefit of the community.
