Kathmandu. In the first quarter of the current fiscal year (July-September), the micro life insurer has done a business of around Rs 250 million.
According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA), three micro life insurance companies have earned Rs 24.74 crore in insurance premiums in the first three months of the current fiscal year. As of September, the number of active insurance policies of the micro life insurance company is 20,15,420.
Guardian Micro Life is one of the microlife insurers that brought in the highest business till September. The company has collected a total premium of Rs 8.92 crore. The company has an active insurance policy of Rs 1,313,530.
Similarly, Crest Micro Life has earned Rs 8.62 crore and Liberty Micro Life has earned Rs 7.19 crore in the first quarter. These companies have active insurance policies of 4,58,632 and 2,43,258 respectively.
