According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA), four micro insurance companies have earned Rs 62.67 crore in insurance premium in the first six months of the current fiscal year. During this period, these companies have sold 2,30,493 insurance companies.
Protect Micro Insurance was the top gainer in the review period. The company has sold 66,256 policies and earned Rs 17.06 crore in total premium.
Nepal Micro Insurance is in the second position. The company sold 58,299 policies in the first six months and earned Rs 16.29 crore in total premiums.
Likewise, Trust Micro Insurance has earned Rs 15.59 crore in insurance policy by selling 45,997 policies and Rs 13.72 crore in insurance premiums.
