Kathmandu. Manakamana Engineering Hydropower Company is going to hold its special general meeting (SGM) on February 31. The meeting will be held at Quality Travel, Buddhanagar, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu at 11:00 am. The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on February 29 has fixed the date for the meeting.
The AGM shall approve the prior approval of the issue of right shares of the company, amend the provisions of Rule 27 (2) of the Regulations and approve the Board of Directors.
The AGM will endorse a proposal to authorize the Board of Directors of the Company to carry out necessary functions in the regulatory bodies including the Electricity Regulatory Commission, Securities Board of Nepal, Nepal Stock Exchange Limited, Office of the Company Registrar and other regulatory bodies while issuing the right shares of the company.
