Kathmandu. Citizen Life Insurance has provided financial assistance of Rs 1.51 crore to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by natural disasters.
Chairman of Citizen Life Insurance Pradeep Jung Pandey and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Poshan Raj Poudel handed over the cheque of the amount to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle amidst a program organized at the Ministry of Finance on Monday.
The company said it provided financial assistance to the government in the rescue and relief work of people affected by floods, landslides and various natural disasters.
In this hour of disaster, the company has given high priority to corporate social responsibility and has joined hands in disaster management at the national level. It is believed that this kind of assistance will further support the relief distribution and rehabilitation work to the affected families.
