KATHMANDU: On the occasion of the ninth establishment day of Reliable Nepal Life Insurance Limited, Manthali branch of Ramechhap district cleaned the market and distributed dustbins. The cleanliness program was organized in coordination with Ramechhap Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with Reliable Nepal Life Insurance Limited, Manthali branch.
As part of the campaign, 40 dustbins were distributed in various areas of Manthali Bazaar to clean up and manage waste management. Mayor of Manthali Municipality Lav Shrestha, Ward No. Chairman of Ward No. 1 Hom Prasad Poudel and Chairman of Ramechhap Chamber of Commerce and Industry Prakash Kumar Shrestha were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, the people’s representatives and entrepreneurs stressed the need of collaboration among local government, entrepreneurs, locals and various organizations for the construction of a clean, beautiful and well-managed Manthali.
They said that attention should be paid to proper management of waste by ending the tendency of disposing waste haphazardly as the number of waste is increasing due to the expansion of the market in the market.
Shanta Shrestha, chief of the insurance company’s Manthali branch, said that the insurance company’s role was not only limited to selling insurance and financial security.
The campaign launched with the message “Don’t throw garbage haphazardly, keep it in dustbin” is expected to have a positive impact on waste management in the market area.
The organizers have stressed that everyone should take equal responsibility in keeping the house and business place clean and also in the cleanliness of the streets, markets and public places. It is said that Manthali can be developed as a clean, beautiful and well-managed city only if the waste is properly managed along with regular cleanliness.
