Kathmandu. Jal Shakti Hydro Company Limited is issuing 1,00,00,000 units of shares at face value of Rs 100 per share to the locals of the project-affected area, Nepali citizens working abroad after obtaining labour approval from the concerned body of the government, employees of the project, mutual investment funds and the general public. The promoters will own 60% and the general public will have 40% shareholding of the issued capital of the company.
Sanima Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO issuance. The agreement was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of Sanima Capital Limited Mr. Bikash Khanal and Chairman of Jal Shakti Hydro Company Limited Mr. Bikash Khanal. Bhogendra Kumar Guragain signed the agreement amidst a ceremony.
Jal Shakti Hydro Company Limited has purchased 23.675 MW of water from the Illep (Tatopani) River in Dhading district. It is building a hydropower project.
