Kathmandu. Ruru Hydropower Project in the fiscal year 2081. The company has declared a dividend for 82 years.
The Board of Directors of the company has decided to distribute 15.79% dividend from the profit of the current fiscal year. This includes 10 percent bonus share and 5.79 percent cash dividend.
The company has called its 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on January 8 to approve the proposed dividend. The assembly will begin at 11:00 am at Smart Palace and Event in Chabahil, Kathmandu. After the approval of the shares, the shareholders will get the amount.
The AGM will also pass a proposal to amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association accordingly and authorize the Board of Directors to act accordingly as the officer, issued and paid-up capital of the company will increase after the issuance of bonus shares. The AGM will elect 6 directors including 1 woman director to the board of directors.
The meeting will approve the annual report of the last fiscal year and also pass the proposal regarding the appointment of the auditor and determination of his/her remuneration for the current fiscal year.
The company has decided to close the book on December 29 for the purpose of dividend and annual general meeting. This means that only the shareholders of the company will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting till December 22, which is a public holiday on December 10, there will be no trading of shares on Friday.
