Kathmandu. The auction period of 28.5 lakh units of shares of Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower Company is about to expire.
Issuing a notice today, the company informed that the auction period of 28,46,525 units of shares will end from August 12. Out of the total offered shares, 2,06,760 units have been allotted to the project affected locals and 39,765 units have been set up by the employees of the company. This is with bonus shares.
There is a provision that the shares of the founder, local and employees of any company should be kept in the locker for 3 years from the date of allotment. According to the same provision, the lockout period is about to expire.
However, in the case of the directors and employees working in the top management position of the company, the shares will be frozen as per the rules.
