Kathmandu. The Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has initiated action against the employees of the insurance company for appearing in the agent license examination.
After canceling the exams of 11 examinees on Sunday, the Authority is preparing to take action against the employees of the life insurance company for the fake examinees.
According to a source associated with the authority, the life insurer will be directed to inform the life insurer within seven days after conducting investigation and taking action against the guilty employees for the fake exams. The life insurer shall take action against the concerned employee in accordance with the provisions of the Employees Bye-laws and inform the Authority in writing.
As the branch manager is the responsibility of the head of the section where the examination is conducted, the authority has directed the concerned insurer to take action against the branch manager.
The Insurance Authority of Nepal (IBA) has barred the examinees from participating in the examination again for three months.
