Kathmandu. US President Donald Trump has told his negotiators on the Iran issue not to rush the deal. However, previous reports suggested that a deal was getting closer.
Trump has also said that he will seek a good deal with Iran. During this, he has also criticized the agreement signed during the tenure of former President Barack Obama.
According to US media, the deal currently being negotiated includes an extension of the 60-day ceasefire, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and further negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program.
“If I make a deal with Iran, that would be good and fair,” Trump wrote on TruthSocial Media. Not the Obama deal, which gave Iran a lot of cash and paved the way for the development of nuclear weapons. ’
“Our agreement is the exact opposite. But, no one has seen it and no one knows what it is. It has not yet been finalized. So don’t listen to those who criticize it; They don’t know anything about it,” Trump wrote.
“The people before me should have solved this problem years ago, but they didn’t,” Trump wrote. I don’t make a bad deal. ’
It is worth noting that on Sunday, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had expressed hope that the second round of talks would be held. –Agency
