Kathmandu. The government has announced to provide concessional loans and interest subsidies to farmers.
Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle presented the budget for the coming fiscal year in a joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament on Monday. “We will provide concessional loans to the farmers while purchasing agricultural products directly from the farmers and make arrangements for interest subsidy,” he said.
Finance Minister Wagle also said that arrangements will be made for branding of agricultural products produced and processed in remote areas.
