Kathmandu. The Ministry of Finance has prepared a draft bill designed to amend some Nepal Acts related to finance.
According to the Ministry, the bill is going to be brought as it is necessary to repeal and amend the laws that create duplication in administrative work by creating procedural and structural complexities by creating high time and cost in public works.
The Ministry believes that the bill will help implement the right to property guaranteed in Article 25 of the Constitution of Nepal and create a conducive environment for investment by boosting the morale of the private sector.
According to the Ministry, the bill will not cause additional financial burden to the government but will help in reducing unnecessary administrative expenses. The Ministry believes that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will contribute to good employment and economic growth, industry, infrastructure and innovation.
