Kathmandu. The government has announced restructuring of the health insurance programme. The next fiscal year 2083. President Ram Chandra Poudel said this while presenting the policies and programmes of the Federal Parliament for the Fiscal Year 84.
The government has said that it will provide specialist consultation services to the people of remote areas through the telehealth platform. A “Center for Disease Control” will be established for disease surveillance and control, and a “National Health Accreditation Authority” will be established to improve the quality of health services.
A “National Biological Study Laboratory” will be established at the federal level to strengthen biological studies, public health research and epidemic control capacity.
