Joint Spokesperson of the Securities Board, Tolakanta Neupane, said that the Securities Board has been keeping a daily vigil to prevent illegal and illegal activities in the stock market. “The Monitoring Division is monitoring the market from 11 am to 3 pm,” he said, adding, “Further investigation is underway in case of suspicious activities.” ’

Deputy Spokesperson Neupane said that there have been complaints through social media that some players of the market are instigating gullible investors. “The Securities Board is constantly monitoring some investors involved in such activities,” he said. ’

Similarly, they are also monitoring those who do technical analysis on their own in the market. “There have also been complaints that technical analysis is being done to create a conducive environment and raise the price of shares held by them,” he said. Therefore, discussions are being held in the Securities Board to bring a policy arrangement to make it systematic. ’

Deputy Spokesperson Neupane said discussions were underway to issue licenses to technical analysts (TA). “Such practices are taking place in the international market. The Securities Board is thinking of making arrangements to make technical analysis of the market only after getting the license in Nepal,” he said.

Neupane said that the Securities Board has been continuously taking initiatives to improve the stock market. “The securities board is leaving no stone unturned to protect the interests of investors and their investment,” he said.
