Investment of non-life insurers is above Rs 68 billion, how much of which company? (with list)

According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) till Mid-April of the current fiscal year, 14 non-life insurers have invested a total of Rs 68.74 billion in various sectors. Of this, non-life insurers have invested Rs 51.95 billion in fixed deposits of banks and financial institutions alone. In this way, 76.32 percent of the total investment of non-life insurers is in fixed deposits of banks and financial institutions.

As of Mid-March, life insurance companies have invested Rs 45.70 billion in A-class banks, Rs 5.21 billion in B-class banks and Rs 1.03 billion in C-class financial institutions.

Similarly, rs 629.1 million in government savings certificates and bonds, Rs 4.54 billion in listed public company shares, Rs 3.19 billion in preference shares, bonds, debentures and debentures of banks and financial institutions, Rs 1.40 billion in bond debentures and bonds of listed public companies, Rs 890.9 million in citizen investment funds and mutual funds. He has invested Rs 156.2 million in shares of investment companies, Rs 1.99 billion in other founder shares and Rs 142 million in shares of unlisted public companies.

Similarly, non-life insurers have invested Rs 1.04 billion in agriculture production and distribution, cold storage houses, tourism industry, hydropower, solar energy, cable car, road, power transmission line, education and health sectors, and Rs 2.11 billion in other sectors.

The National Insurance Company is one of the largest investors in various sectors. The company has invested Rs 8.23 billion.

Siddhartha Premier Insurance is in second place. The company has invested a total of Rs 7.91 billion.

Neco Insurance is the third non-life insurance company to invest the most. Neco Insurance has invested Rs 6.57 billion.
