Kathmandu. Kisan Agrobase Industries Limited (KABIL) has been roped in as the co-sponsor of Chitwan Rhinos, a team participating in the Nepal Premier League. Kisan Agrobase, which is active with an integrated business model in the agriculture, tourism and production sectors, has co-sponsored Chitwan Rhinos for Seasons 3 and 4.
This collaboration with NPL, which is being established as a special festival of Nepali sports, has brought agricultural enterprises and sports on one platform. KABIL, which was established with its headquarters in Kathmandu on April 4, 2081, has already established its business presence in various places of the country including Dhankuta, Morang, Nawalparasi in a short span of time. The organization has moved forward with the objective of putting into practice the theoretical belief that the existing challenges in the agriculture sector can be turned into opportunities.
With an aim to establish a wider presence of Nepali products in the global market, KABIL has identified and accelerated its business by identifying five specialty business areas including processing and cold storage of agricultural products, natural mineral water and specialty beverages, medicinal herbs and spices, production and marketing of animal products and dairy products, and agro-based tourism.TAG_OPEN_p_6
The organization believes that this effort to run the value chain from production to processing, storage and marketing in an integrated manner will contribute to fair prices for farmers, quality products to consumers and export promotion and import substitution to the country. As Chitwan is one of the major agricultural production areas and tourist destinations in the country, KABIL has taken the collaboration with Chitwan Rhinos as a partnership that is naturally in line with its business philosophy.TAG_OPEN_p_5
