Kathmandu. A study report on employment satisfaction of employees of insurance companies published by the Nepal Insurance Authority has pointed out that the employees of insurance companies are very cooperative with each other.
In the report, while measuring the satisfaction of employees on the basis of the level of support received from colleagues, it has been found that the satisfaction level of employees of life insurance companies is comparatively slightly higher than that of non-life and micro insurers. Statistical analysis has confirmed that the satisfaction level of employees working in both micro insurance life and non-life companies is the lowest.
This conclusion has been drawn on the basis of the responses of 3,767 employees who participated in the study. The good cooperation between colleagues and a clear sense of responsibility towards the work have added positive energy to the employees working in this field.
Overall, co-worker support averaged 4.38, standard deviation 0.82, clarity of work responsibilities averaged 4.17, standard deviation was 0.91. Similarly, workplace respect and inclusivity averaged 4.26 and supervisor support averaged 4.21, while 44.87 percent of employees expressed an average of 4.02 percent of their determination to continue in the same organization in the future.
The study showed an average of 4.38 of peer support and a standard deviation of 0.82. To put it simply, an average score of 4.38 out of 5 confirms the fact that employees in the insurance sector are getting a lot of support and goodwill from their office colleagues. In addition, a standard deviation of 0.82 does not make a huge difference in the opinion of employees, almost indicating that most employees are positive about the mutual support and collective spirit of their colleagues.
