Kathmandu. Deposits in the banking system increased by Rs 15 billion in a single day.
According to the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), deposits stood at Rs 8.94 trillion as of Tuesday, which reached Rs 8.19 trillion as of Wednesday. Similarly, credit flow remained stable at Rs 59.30 trillion as of Tuesday.
As of Wednesday, deposits of commercial banks have reached Rs 73.21 trillion and loans from commercial banks have reached Rs 5.275 trillion.
The CD ratio has come down to 72.45 percent and the interbank interest rate is 2.75 percent.
