Kathmandu. LG Electronics Pvt. Ltd., in partnership with CG Electronics has officially launched its new DualCool Inverter Residential Air Conditioner (RAC) series in Nepal. The air conditioner was launched in a special program organized at Hotel Vivanta Kathmandu.
The new dual-cool air conditioner features a smart power management technology called “Kilowatt Manager”. It has been developed keeping in mind the growing need for an efficient, energy-efficient and cost-conscious conditioner in Nepali households.
The products were formally unveiled by Nirwan Chaudhary, Managing Director of Chaudhary Group. It marks yet another milestone in Nepal’s journey to provide reliable and innovative home appliances.
The highlight of LG’s ‘KW Manager’ is the highlight of the new series ‘Decide Your Own Bill’ via KW Manager. It is a smart energy-saving feature that allows users to manage their electricity consumption more effectively.
With energy costs and electricity charges rising, Nepali households are looking for predictable and effective solutions.
Through a simple setup, consumers can set the power consumption limit and duration of operation as desired. LG can monitor real-time power consumption through ThinQ Connectivity and receive notifications about abnormal or excessive power usage.
Consumers can take advantage of automatic energy saving optimization as per usage style and preferences. The system intelligently adjusts the performance of the air conditioner to maintain comfortable cooling within a predetermined power usage limit. This provides a smart experience without the unexpected increase in electricity bills.
Improved indoor air cleanliness via ‘fridge clean’
Dust and bacteria can accumulate inside the air conditioner, which can cause concerns about clean air. LG’s “Freeze Clean” technology creates a layer of ice around the impurities accumulated in the evaporator. As the ice melts, these particles are expelled through the drainage. This helps to keep the inside of the appliance clean.
Tests showed that the ‘Freeze Clean’ feature was able to remove up to 99.0% of the residual bacteria in the evaporator.
