Kathmandu. The Health Insurance Board has directed the health institutions providing services to mandatorily implement the work of providing services through digital cards.
The Insurance Board has issued a circular in the name of all the service providing health institutions. For the convenience of the insured, it was decided by the meeting of the Insurance Board on March 8, 2008 to provide the service by scanning the QR code prepared through digital functions such as Citizen App, HIB Profile and other digital functions in case they do not have the health insurance card (insurance card) for various reasons.
However, the Insurance Board has said that it has received complaints that some service providers are not providing digital card services. The board has directed to implement this system compulsorily from now on.
