Banks invest more than Rs 4.5 billion in residential personal home loans

Kathmandu. The attraction of residential personal home loans has increased in recent years due to the convenient regulatory provisions of Nepal Rastra Bank.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set a provision for banks to disburse a maximum of Rs 2 crore to this loan. According to the central bank’s data, the current fiscal year 2082. By the second quarter of 83 years (July-December), the bank has disbursed more than Rs 450 billion in this heading.

Similarly, banks have disbursed Rs 261.13 billion in real estate loans till mid-January of the current fiscal year. The bank had disbursed Rs 273.69 billion in the same period of the previous year. Compared to the previous year, the credit flow decreased by 4.59 percent in the review period.
