Kathmandu. Zurich Insurance Asia Pacific has launched Zurich Age Assist. This is a new module designed to integrate insurance sales, service and claims operations across multiple channels within its Zurich Edge platform.
The platform provides real-time customer visibility and automated workflows to the mediator and the Zurich team to standardize service delivery. Its core functions include lead prioritization, integrated customer profiles and flexible commission settings. Additional modules for task tracking and AI-based product matching are planned to be released in 2026.
Built on a cloud-based architecture with open APIs, Zurich Edge Assist supports market-specific deployments and integration with external systems. It was launched in Indonesia and will expand to India, Japan and Malaysia by 2026.
According to Zurich, it will continue the phased implementation of the platform by the end of 2026, focusing on tools to improve the speed of the arbitration process and data accuracy in the Asia Pacific region.
