Kathmandu. Siddhartha Premier Insurance Limited settled 17,730 claims in the fiscal year 2081/82. A total of Rs 3.02 billion claims have been paid. Out of the stated claim amount, Rs. A total of Rs 2.76 billion in final claim payment and Rs 260.1 million interim claim payment have been made.
The company paid Rs 1.21 billion from only 456 claims of liability generated by the floods and landslides in the month of Ashwin and now it is yet to pay 46 claims related to floods and landslides.
A total of 17,156 claims were filed with the company in the fiscal year 2081/82. Looking at the statistics, it seems that the company has settled more claims than the total claims registered in the financial year 2081/2082. This indicates that the company’s claim process and editing work is good. A total of 4,380 claims are yet to be settled.
The company is making every effort to settle the pending claims as soon as possible and due to the delay in payment of the remaining claims due to lack of necessary documents from the insured, the concerned insured has also requested the concerned insured to contact the surveyor deployed for the damage assessment of the documents related to their claim, the company’s branch offices, state offices or head offices across the country and submit the documents as soon as possible.
The company has expressed its commitment to settle the claims coming to the company at the earliest.
