What is the situation of other parties when the RSP got 57.5% of the votes under the proportional representation?

Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is also leading in the proportional representation (PR) votes cast in the House of Representatives elections.

According to the data released by the Election Commission, a total of 54,347 proportional representation votes have been counted in various constituencies of the country so far. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) alone has garnered 31,260 votes. That’s 57.52 percent.

The Nepali Congress (NC) is the second largest proportional representation vote. The Congress has garnered 17.82 per cent or 9,687 votes.

Similarly, CPN-UML has garnered 4,365 votes and Rastriya Prajatantra Party has garnered 4,055 votes. The NCP has won 8.03 per cent of the total votes and the RPP has 7.46 per cent.

The rest of the votes were cast by other parties, including the CPN.
