Kathmandu. Sudhan Gurung of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won from Gorkha-1 in the by-election to the House of Representatives.
Gurung garnered 29,896 votes to win the election, according to the Election Commission. His nearest rival was NC’s Prem Kumar Khatri who got 15,398 votes. Gurung got 14,498 more votes than Khatri.
Hari Raj Adhikari is in third place. NCP candidate Adhikari garnered 11,1224 votes. He is a candidate of the NCP.
CPN-UML’s Ram Chandra Lamichhane has garnered 3,732 votes in the constituency.
