PM Shah appoints Vice-Chancellors in half a dozen academies under Health Ministry

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balen Shah has appointed Vice-Chancellors of 6 different academies of Health Sciences under the Ministry of Health.  Prime Minister Shah, who is also the chancellor of the institute, appointed the vice-chancellor based on the recommendation of the selection committee.

Dr KC has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS). Vivek Acharya. Likewise, Dr KC has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences. Smriti Karki has been appointed. Dr. Pokhara has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of the Academy of Health Sciences. Narayan Singh Gurung has been appointed to the post.

Apart from this, Dr. Bhattarai has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of Patan Academy of Health Sciences. Nabi Samana Singh has been appointed as the chief minister. Vice-Chancellor of Karnali Academy of Health Sciences Suryaman Myangbo has been appointed. Dr KC has been appointed vice-chancellor of Rapti Academy of Health Sciences. Ajay Kumar Mishra has been appointed.

A total of 113 candidates had applied for the post of vice-chancellor. A total of 42 of them were included in the final list. Out of the applications received by the recommendation committee, the committee had published an initial list of 42 candidates for interview and presentation at the rate of seven from each academy.
