Kathmandu. On the occasion of the 58th anniversary of Nepal Insurance Authority, a blood donation program and free health camp was organized by Koshi Province Office. According to the organizers, there was a significant participation in the program organized in Biratnagar as part of its social responsibility.
A total of 178 people availed various services in the program. Of them, 65 donated blood, 109 received eye check-up service and 43 received dental check-up.
Free eye and dental check-up services were provided to the participants. The programme has been organized with the objective of raising public awareness towards health and contributing to humanitarian service.
Nepal Red Cross Society, Koshi State, Himal Eye Hospital and Shanti Pharmacy and Dental Clinic, Biratnagar had collaborated to make the program a success.
On the occasion of the anniversary, the NEA has been continuously strengthening the relationship with the community through social service programs, said Preeti Dev, Chief of Nepal Insurance Authority, Koshi Province.
