Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank provides scholarships to Bhanu Secondary School

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has provided scholarships to poor and underprivileged students of Bhanu Secondary School (Durbar High School) on the occasion of its 172nd Foundation Day and Parents’ Day.

More than 1100 students of the school have been provided the scholarships keeping in mind that their studies have been affected due to financial constraints. The scholarships were handed over to the school’s Principal Sharada Kumari Poudel by the bank’s marketing department chief Parma Dhungel.

Speaking at the program, School Principal Poudel thanked the bank family for providing scholarships to the meritorious and disciplined students by boosting their morale as well as encouraging them to reach a bright academic future.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Dhungel, Marketing Department of the Bank, said that the bank has been contributing to the education sector as a part of its CSR program and pledged to give continuity to such social programs in the days ahead. The program was attended by the President of School Management Association, the school principal, teachers, guardians and representatives of banks.

In addition, the bank will continue such programs in the coming days with the coordination and cooperation of the stakeholders.
