Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has garnered 2 lakh votes in the proportional representation (PR) vote cast in the House of Representatives elections.
According to the data released by the Election Commission, a total of 383,986 proportional representation votes have been counted in various constituencies of the country so far. Out of this, the Rastriya Samajwadi Party alone has secured 205,609 votes. This is 53.55 percent.
The Nepali Congress (NC) is the second largest proportional representation vote. The Nepali Congress has garnered 63,528 votes or 16.54 per cent.
Similarly, CPN-UML has garnered 49,934 votes and NCP has garnered 20,147 votes. The UML has 13 per cent of the total votes and the NCP has 5.25 per cent.
The rest of the votes were cast by other parties, including the RPP.
