Kathmandu. Police have arrested four defendants who were absconding after being involved in the offence under the Securities Act, 2063 and Insurance Act, 2079. They were arrested on Monday based on the preliminary investigation report of the Securities Board of Nepal and the Insurance Authority.
Those arrested are investment member of Himalayan Investment Banker Ltd. Subhash Poudel, 42, of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Sunita Maharjan, 41, a board member of Crest Micro Life Insurance Limited, and Subhash Poudel, 42, of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. 16 residents, Nepal Micro Insurance Ltd. The board of directors is 45-year-old Anup Malkar.
Similarly, Kavrepalanchowk Bhumlu Rural Municipality Ward No. 8. Permanent address in Bhumlutar Ward No. 6 of Nepal Micro Insurance Ltd. Sunita Shrestha, 39, is the board member.
Among them, Poudel has been charged under the Securities Act-2063 and Insurance Act-2079, Maharjan has been charged under the Securities Act, 2079 and Malakar and Sunita Shrestha have been charged under the Insurance Act, 2079.
