Kathmandu. The government has announced to expand the scope of crop and livestock insurance for small farmers. The next fiscal year 2083. President Ram Chandra Poudel said this while presenting the policies and programmes for the Fiscal Year 84 in the joint session of the Federal Parliament.
In order to expand the scope of crop and livestock insurance, the policy issue, premium payment and claim process will be linked to the digital system. The government has announced that the livestock sector would be strengthened through insurance, livestock health service and commercialization.
