Kathmandu. Raj Kumar Timilsina is one of the most successful stock brokers in Nepal. He is the Executive Chairman of Vision Securities.
Timilsina is contesting the election of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI). Timilsina has been nominated for the post of associate member from the panel of associate vice-president candidate Jyotsna Shrestha.
Timilsina, who has filed his candidacy for the post of executive member for the upcoming 60th annual general meeting and convention of FNCCI, has experience of working in various responsible positions including stock brokers. “I have filed my candidacy to fulfill the agenda of the entire private sector,” Timilsina said.
Currently, Timilsina is the Chairman of Vision Power Partners, Director of Venture Power, member of Capital Market Committee of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Ement Court.
Timilsina has also served as a director of National Life Insurance Company and as a director of RMDC Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha.
Timilsina said that his panel would address the genuine demands of industrialists and entrepreneurs. “The private sector has an important role to play in a prosperous economy,” he said, adding, “So I appeal to you to support our team this time.” ’
Timilsina said that his team will take initiative to choose the private sector as the driver of the economy.
The general meeting and election of the FNCCI have been scheduled for April 29 and 30.
