Kathmandu. NASA Securities Company has launched a margin trading facility.
NASA Securities has become the first broker company in Nepal to implement this service immediately after the regulatory body implemented the margin trading procedure. On the very first day of its launch, NASA Securities Limited has provided margin trading facility worth Rs 14 crore to its customers. This achievement demonstrates NASA’s commitment to innovation and its leadership role in the development of Nepal’s capital markets.
Highlights
Investors can invest 30 percent in the initial margin and the remaining 70 percent will be provided by NASA.
The facility amount is Rs. Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. Up to Rs 2 crore will be available.
Duration 1 month, 2 months and 3 months.
Interest and service charges are about 1 percent per month, with a long-term waiver.
Risk Management
Maintenance margin should be maintained at least 20 percent.
If the maintenance margin is less than 20 percent, the margin will be called.
The regulatory body’s Margin Trading Procedure 2082 should be fully followed.
Eligible Securities
Margin trading can be done only within the list of companies approved by NEPSE.

Margin Demat Account and Margin Trading Account should be opened.
The process should be completed and the margin agreement should be signed.
With the launch of this facility, NASA Securities aims to increase investor participation, increase liquidity in the market and expand investment opportunities.
