Kathmandu. The price of petrol has come down. A meeting of the Board of Directors of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) on Sunday reduced the price of petrol by Rs 4 per litre and diesel and kerosene by Rs 5 per litre to be effective from this midnight.

Likewise, the price of aviation fuel (domestic) has been reduced by Rs 6 per liter while the price of aviation fuel (ATF) has been reduced by USD 42 per kilometer to Kathmandu (international). The price of LP gas remains unchanged.

The price of petrol in the first class has been fixed at Rs 156.50 per litre, Rs 158 per litre for the second grade and Rs 159 per litre for the third class.

Similarly, the price of diesel and kerosene in the third class has been fixed at Rs 134.50 per litre, Rs 136 per litre and Rs 137 per litre respectively.

Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj under the first category, Surkhet and Dang under the second category and Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal under the third category.
