Kathmandu. Ritu Kharel is an insurance agent by profession. She is a woman who has earned a name and money as a successful agent in a short time in the insurance sector. Ritu is a person who has the feeling that a girl should stand on her own feet.

Since childhood, Ritu was hardworking and diligent in every work. The same dedication from a young age has also led to success in the insurance agent field today. Ritu is currently working as an agency manager at Jitpur branch office of Citizen Life.

Ritu represents Citizen Life and reaches out to her friends and family. She says that she will bring insurance business from everyone, but that she will explain it to everyone.

Ritu is not just a person who is limited to the profession of an agent. She is also associated with various social organizations as well as insurance agents. She is also the vice president of the Jaycees. His passion for social work is immense. She says that it was her passion for social work that inspired her to work in the insurance sector. Prior to joining the profession of an agent, Ritu had a long experience in various fields including NGOs and INGOs.

Ritu was born in Jitpur of Kapilvastu in 2048 BS. Ritu says that she grew up studying, eating and playing as a child. She said that the family environment has been good since childhood. Ritu has completed her Master’s degree in Sociology.

While working in an NGO, Ritu wanted to buy her own insurance. She had a little understanding of insurance. Thinking that insurance is the support of the future and it is good to have insurance, she went to the Jeetpur branch office of Citizen Life to get insurance. “At that time, agent training and capacity building training was being conducted in the branch of Citizen Life,” Ritu said.

When we went to get her insurance, the regional manager of the area, Laxman Marasini Sir, advised Ritu that she should also buy insurance and work as an agent. And she also participated in the training. “I just knew insurance was good. However, after participating in the training, I felt that it was very good to work as an agent,” she said, “Laxman Sir also told me that insurance is a very good profession related to social welfare and I also got the feeling that we should do it and I decided to work as an agent and started working with a license from Citizen Life in 2077 BS.” ’

After getting her agent’s license, Ritu bought her first insurance. Then she proposed to close friends and friends. Within a short time of becoming an agent, she did a good business and achieved the goal of MDRT. Ritu added, “I feel that luck has favored me in the agent profession. I did a good job in a short time. Even now, I am in a good insurance business. Luck has been on my side in this field. I am very happy about it. I am very satisfied with my career as an agent. ’

When asked why she likes the agent profession, Ritu said, “Agent profession is a profession that can be freed. In this profession, there is no time limit or siege, which can be done by offering it whenever you have your time. I found this profession to be better than other jobs because I can work independently by giving time to my family and friends. ’

Ritu says that even if others call her an agent profession, it does not matter to her. “People who understand real insurance understand the agent profession and it is our religion to hand over insurance to those who are called brokerage without understanding insurance,” she said, “We get salary for every job we do and we get the money given by the company for working in the agent profession.” It is not good to call the agent only a broker. ’

According to Ritu, the agent profession is a profession of faith. “The insurance sector is a market of trust. Here, distrust and pretense do not and do not last. “As the agent profession is a profession of trust, it is a long-term business for the insurance market by selling the truth of the company in the market without spreading misleading information about the insurance,” she said, “When the agent goes to the market, the insurance should be submitted by taking the correct information about the company and the insurance should be provided on the basis of the capacity and income of the customer.” ’

Ritu says that she has changed a lot after joining the profession of an agent. “While working in other organizations, I knew a limited number of people, but after becoming an agent, I got a chance to know people from all walks of life,” she said. I became financially stronger. I am proud of the honor, the respect and the respect I have received, rather than the money. ’

In Ritu’s opinion, to be a successful agent in a competitive insurance market, you need to be able to sell your trust. “Customers insure on the basis of trust. Still, there are many people who say that you believe in the insurance rather than understanding the insurance,” she says, “Therefore, if the insurance is sold to the customers by explaining the truth about the insurance, then it will be successful.” ’

Remembering that Citizen Life is responsible for her success, Ritu says, “We have also achieved success today because of the support of the company’s team. And the company has also reached a height and the customers have also ensured the future. I have had a lot of success since entering the insurance industry. I am very happy and satisfied with it. ’

Ritu says that the company has fulfilled every goal given by it. Ritu has also become an MDRT. She said that now we are working with the goal of MDRT for 2026 as well. Ritu has consistently won awards under the Golden Club. She is also a graduate from Citizen Life.
