Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has launched the “Alpha Grow Savings Account” targeting children on the occasion of its 19th anniversary.
This account is for children below 18 years of age.
Once the deposit reaches Rs. 100,000, the bank will insure the life insured of Rs. 50,000 for a period of 15 years. The bank will also pay the insurance premium.

Apart from this, it is also a savings account of Door Step Banking Service. The bank has provided the facility of opening an account at the doorstep of the customers who have difficulty in reaching the bank. This service can be requested through Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank’s mobile banking app. After opening the account, the bank can also deliver the cheque book at the doorstep of the bank even if the cheque book is required.
The bank believes that life insurance will also be available along with savings, which will encourage them to develop the habit of saving. According to the bank, the bank will also encourage children to earn interest income from cash deposits in their bank accounts and to make a habit of saving a small amount regularly.
