Buffett has been writing an annual letter for the past 6 decades. It has become a bible for investors around the world. However, he says, “I will continue to send a message to my shareholders every Thanksgiving.” ’

Buffett is the 11th richest person in the world with a net worth of $ 149 billion. “I will no longer write Berkshire’s annual report or talk endlessly at annual meetings,” Buffett wrote. I’m going to be quiet now. ’

Buffett’s longtime partner, Greg Abel, will officially take over as Berkshire’s CEO later this year. “I am grateful and surprised that I have lived to the age of 95,” Buffett wrote in a personal note. ’

The great investor recalled an episode of appendicitis in 1938, when he came close to death at the age of 8. “I was sent to Catholic Hospital in Omaha,” he explained. ’

Buffett has also written about the city of Omaha. Which he calls home. “Me and Berkshire were both in a good position because of our Omaha base,” he said. ’

He also paid tribute to the people who shaped his life. That included Buffett’s partner of more than 60 years, Charlie Munger. He passed away in 2023. “We had our differences, but we never had an argument,” Buffett wrote.
