IPPAN hands over four televisions to Energy Ministry

Kathmandu. The Independent Power Producers’ Association of Nepal has handed over four televisions to the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation. Four televisions were handed over to the Ministry of Urban Development in coordination with the Ministry of Urban Development, Federal Secretariat Construction and Management Office, Sano Gaucharan, Kathmandu in coordination with the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.

IPPAN Vice President Bharat Khatri and General Secretary Balram Khatiwada handed over the project to Joint-Secretary at the Ministry of Energy Rudra Singh Tamang at Singha Durbar today.

Receiving the television, Joint Secretary Tamang thanked IPPAN for providing support to the televisions. General Secretary Khatiwada said that the Ministry of Energy has provided assistance as per the request of the Ministry in carrying out its responsibility as it is a facilitation place for private sector investors.

The televisions handed over by IPPAN will be located in the meeting rooms of the Ministry as well as other places. The ministry had problems with presentations in the meeting rooms after the televisions were damaged during the Genji protests.

According to IPPAN Vice-President Khatri, the Ministry of Urban Development has coordinated with the Ministry of Urban Development to carry out the reconstruction of damaged public structures.
