Kathmandu. The stock market closed higher today. Today, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 5.19 points to close at 2,509 points. Share prices of 98 companies have increased and the share prices of 146 companies have fallen.
A total of 5,596,077 units of shares of 313 companies were traded during the day. Shares of Nepal Reinsurance Company Ltd were traded the most today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 32.49 crore were traded. Shares worth Rs 23.64 crore were traded in SBL Debentures 2089. Shares of Union Hydropower worth Rs 18.70 crore were traded.
Today, the highest number of SBL debentures have been earned by the unit holders of 2089. Today, its unit owners have earned at the rate of 10 percent. Investors of Samata Domestic Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha have earned 8.89 percent. Investors of Himalayan Power Partners have earned 7 percent each.
