Kathmandu. A paralyzed man was murdered by a gang in Karnataka’s Hospet to get money for life insurance, police said on Sunday. To make the murder look like an accident, the gang members put the body in a two-wheeler and then hit it with a car.
The gang already knew that the paralyzed young man was married and had a life insurance policy of more than Rs 5 crore. After the young man’s death, they tried to extort insurance money by posing as his wife to one of the gang members.
