National Development Bank’s net profit increased by 7.5 percent, 5 percent increased and 3 percent decreased

Kathmandu. National level development banks in the current fiscal year 2082. In the first month of ’83, the company has earned a profit of about Rs 80 crore.

According to the data released by Nepal Rastra Bank, eight development banks have earned a net profit of Rs 79.91 crore in the current fiscal year. Last year, 2081. These banks had earned a profit of Rs 74.27 crore in July 2018. The profit of these banks increased by 7.60 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.

Compared to the previous year, the profit of 5 banks increased while the profit of 3 banks decreased. Muktinath Bikas Bank is the top gainer followed by Lumbini Bikas Bank in terms of growth rate.

Muktinath Bikas Bank has earned a net profit of Rs 15.72 crore in the current FY. Muktinath had earned Rs 16.96 crore in the previous year. The profit of the bank decreased by 7.28 percent compared to the previous year.

Similarly, Garima Bikas Bank is the second highest profiter. In the review period, the company earned a profit of Rs 13.39 crore, up 41.59 percent from Rs 9.46 crore in the review period of the previous FY.

Lumbini Bikas Bank is in third place. Lumbini has earned Rs 11.08 crore in the current fiscal year. Last year, Lumbini had earned a profit of Rs 3.63 crore. Lumbini’s profit increased by 205.23 percent compared to the previous year.

During the review period, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank earned a net profit of Rs 9.37 crore, Jyoti Bikas Bank Rs 8.75 crore and Shine Resunga Development Bank earned Rs 8.56 crore. In the previous fiscal year, Kamana Sewa had earned a profit of Rs 8.58 crore, Jyoti Rs 8.37 crore and Shine Resunga Rs 9.87 crore. Compared to the previous year, the profit of Kamana Sewa increased by 9.21 percent and Jyoti’s by 4.55 percent, while Shine Resunga’s profit decreased by 13.23 percent.

Similarly, Shangrila Development Bank and Mahalaxmi Development Bank earned a net profit of Rs 6.95 crore and Rs 6.06 crore in the same period of the current fiscal year. In the previous fiscal year, Shangri-La had earned a profit of Rs 6.81 crore and Mahalaxmi had earned Rs 10.57 crore. Compared to the previous year, the profit of Shangri-La increased by 2.13 percent and that of Mahalaxmi decreased by 432.69 percent.
