Kathmandu. Now, the foreign exchange transaction body will have to issue a letter of credit for the import of goods from Mustang Customs.
This provision has been amended by amending the integrated directive issued by Nepal Rastra Bank to the bodies dealing in foreign exchange today. Goods imported through Chinese territory have to be imported through Tatopani Customs Office (Sindhupalchowk), Rasuwa Customs Office (Rasuwa) and Mustang Customs (Mustang) through trucks or railways.
Earlier, the import of goods through letter of credit was available only from Tatopani Customs Office and Rasuwa Customs.
