Kathmandu. Finally, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has bowed down to Genji.
Prime Minister Oli has bowed down after the movement of Jenji intensified across the country. He has resigned from the post of Prime Minister.
On Monday, the Zenji launched a protest against corruption, corruption and the country’s mismanagement. Yesterday’s protests left 19 people dead and hundreds injured as part of government repression. The injured are undergoing treatment at various hospitals.
Curfew was imposed in various districts of the country including Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur since early morning. However, the Genji spontaneously joined the movement. They had captured the Parliament House and Singha Durbar and torched the houses of senior leaders KP Sharma Oli, Prachanda, Sher Bahadur Deuba and others. They also set fire to the parliament building. Police stations have also been vandalised and set on fire in many places.
Due to Zenji’s movement, many ministers have been rescued by the Nepal Army and taken to safe places. Meanwhile, 20 lawmakers from the Rastriya Swatantra Party have resigned en masse, expressing solidarity with the protest.
Likewise, 42 lawmakers of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party are also resigning. The ministers of the ruling Congress have also resigned.
In most parts of the country, Jenji’s encouraging performance has been seen. Today, the police do not seem to have intervened in the demonstration and the Nepal Army has given a clear answer that it cannot wake up the leader’s house by killing the youth.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that he has tendered his resignation for a constitutional political solution and further initiatives to resolve the problems in view of the extraordinary situation that has emerged in the country.
