According to the financial statement, the bank earned a profit of Rs 5.44 billion in the last fiscal year. The previous fiscal year 2080. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 510 million in 2017-19. In this way, the bank’s profit has increased by 965.41 percent compared to the previous year.
In the review year, the bank’s distributable profit stood at Rs 1.04 billion. The bank has the capacity to distribute 4.44 percent dividend.
In the review year, the operating profit of the bank increased to Rs 6.08 billion. In the previous fiscal year, the operating profit was Rs 3.15 billion. The operating profit of the bank also increased by 99.45 percent.
In the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year, the bank earned Rs 7.19 billion in interest income. In the same period last year, the bank had earned Rs 11.89 billion in interest income. Interest income decreased by 39.47 percent.
The bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 23.54 billion, retind earnings of Rs 1.04 billion and reserves of Rs 13.55 billion. In the previous year, the retained earnings were negative by Rs 3.02 billion and the reserve was Rs 12.12 billion.
In the review year, the bank collected deposits of Rs 342.18 billion and invested Rs 230.37 billion in loans. In the previous fiscal year, the bank collected deposits of Rs 305.1 billion and invested Rs 221.4 billion in loans.
In the review year, the bank’s bad loan ratio (NPL) increased marginally to 4.96 percent. In the same period last year, the bank’s NPL was 4.94 percent.
The bank’s annualised earnings per share (EPS) increased to Rs 23.12. Last year, the EPS was Rs 2.17. The bank has a net worth of Rs 162 per share with a PE ratio of 9.60 times.
