Kathmandu. The government is going to launch ‘Make in Nepal’ and ‘Made in Nepal’ campaigns in collaboration with the private sector.
Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel made the announcement while presenting the budget for the upcoming fiscal year at a joint sitting of parliament today.
Similarly, special economic zones at Panchkhal and Simara will be operated with the participation of the private sector, poudel said. “A targeted export strategy will be adopted for goods of comparative and competitive advantage,” he said, adding that priority would be given to the development of trade infrastructure and transfer of technology. ’
