Kathmandu. Kathmandu: The government is preparing the ground for the installation of Nepal’s own satellite in the geostationary satellite orbit.
Fiscal year 2082 in the federal parliament on Thursday. Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel made the announcement while presenting the budget and programmes for the fiscal year 2019/20.
“The foundation for the installation of Nepal’s satellite in the geostationary satellite orbit will be prepared,” he said.
However, it is doubtful that the announcement made by the government will be implemented. Earlier, the government had made such an announcement but it was not implemented.
