Priority has been given to the implementation of insurance information center in the policy and program of the upcoming fiscal year. The government has taken a policy to set up information centers to make insurance services accessible and reliable.
President Ram Chandra Poudel presented the policy and programmes in the joint sitting of the federal parliament today. The government also has a policy to promote physical property insurance.
The government also plans to launch an insurance literacy programme to cover rural and poor people in insurance.
