Kathmandu. Right & Associates has donated Rs 601,001 to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the rescue and relief of the people affected by the massive floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.
The organization has provided this assistance in solidarity with the affected citizens at a time when there is a huge loss of life and property due to natural disasters in different parts of the country. The organization’s managing director Parsuram Adhikari (PR Adhikari) informed about the assistance through a press release issued on August 28.
Wright & Associates has expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family members while paying tribute to those who lost their lives in the floods in the Bhotekoshi area. It also wished speedy recovery to those injured in the floods and landslides and urged them to make the search for the missing people and the rescue and relief work of the affected more effective.
The organization said that a large number of people have lost their homes and relatives due to the disaster and are with the affected families and communities in this hour of crisis.
“We have made financial support to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund to provide support to the people affected at this hour of grief,” said Adhikari.
According to the organization, the contribution has been made to support the rescue and relief operations being carried out by the state. Arun Gautam, director of Rockdale in Sydney, also said that the organization has contributed as part of its social responsibility to help the people affected during the disaster.
The recent floods and landslides have caused huge damage to physical infrastructure including houses, roads, bridges, especially in different parts of northern Nepal. Nepali communities, organizations, and various bodies in the country and abroad have been mobilizing support for rescue, relief and rehabilitation in the affected areas after the disaster.
